Development through Football is a simple but innovative approach to development that uses the power of football to empower youth and positively transform disadvantaged communities. For example, an organisation might pair football with informal education addressing HIV/AIDS, girls’ empowerment or other local challenges. And if these organisations can get support and attention through UNITED, then they can put their resources where they are needed most – back into the community.
